Week-in-review

Neomi and her stitches

Our week started off with Neomi having to get stitches on Tuesday!  Her class went on a field trip to fly kites and she tripped and fell.  The teachers used egg yoke to stop the bleeding (a new one for me, but it worked).  Neomi got two stitches but she is doing very good.

On Thursday I was able to go with the 3 men pictured above to preach at a school near Urcos (about 40 minutes from Cusco).  The school didn’t have things quite as organized as we wanted and they only gave us a total of 15 minutes (during recess).  We sang a couple of choruses and then I gave my testimony.  It was good to get our foot in the door and the pastor of the church in the area (pictured in the middle) hopes that this will lead to future visits.

This morning (Saturday) we had kids club!  It was our first meeting in awhile and we are meeting in a new location.  We ended up with 10 and had a great time with them.  We are teaching through the “Book Without Words”.  The children really seemed to enjoy it!
