Just a quick adoption update. The papers are in and now the lawyer will declare the biological mom “rebelde” or as a no show. We will then have to file for an audience with the judge. Not sure how long this will take (at least 2 weeks!)

Weekend
The Lord has blessed us with another great weekend. We’re looking forward to kicking off “Let’s Talk” this evening. We will let you know how it goes.
Above you can see Efrain giving a short devotion. It was great to hear him share his heart with us. He shared 1 John 5:14 with us and talked about how we should trust God.
Water!!!!!
As bad as yesterday was, today definitely makes up for it. Yesterday, after bugging the water company, they finally came to hook us up. There was only one guy to do everything that needed done. So, I started digging. After getting “our connection” and our neighbors ready, the water guy started hooking us up. After he got us connected there was one big problem, our house still didn’t have water. Now, our landlord had told me there was only 1 connection for our houses, so I believed him. Guess what? There were two connections. I’m sure there’s a lesson in all this, but I didn’t see last night.
Praise the Lord, they came back this afternoon and now we have water!!! After not having it for over a month and then now almost 2 weeks; I hope I do not take having water for granted. I’m sure my wife doesn’t take it for granted. She washed dishes for an entire hour today!

We are so close to getting water. We should have it in a couple more days! The water company sent a guy who is connecting the houses on our street to the main water pipe. Of course our house was not one of the houses that got connected (maybe tomorrow).
