This morning we were able to by some non-perishable food supplies to help with flood relief here in the region. A youth group from the U.S. initiated donations in their church and when it was all over they had raised quite a bit of money. Today we used some of that money to buy quaker oats, rice, brown sugar and milk. This food will be going to help feed 150 children from the small town of Taray. 80% of Taray has been devastated by the flooding. The mayor of Taray has asked Baptist missionaries in Pisac (nearby town) to feed this children 1 meal a day (breakfast) for 2 months. Here are some pictures:
