We had a great day celebrating the girls’ 5th birthday.  We thank the Lord for giving Neomi and Natali to us.  Here are some pictures:

Yesterday we took Becca’s mom to Pisac.  She loves the little town and shopping at the market there.  On the way we stopped to see all the different cousins of the camel that Peru has: Guanaco, Llamas, Alpacas and Vicuñas.  Here are some pictures.

Happy Birthday to our girls!  We can’t believe that they are 5 years old today!

We are back to Saturdays for our kids club and youth group.  During school vacations we were having things on Wednesdays and Thursdays but this coming Monday all the kids go back to school so we are back to our regular schedule.  The Lord blessed our Berea Club greatly this afternoon; we had 25 (4 first timers)!  Our lesson was on Gideon defeating the Midianites with his 300 men.  The point made to the kids was that we can do anything with God, and that God can use us.  It was a good reminder for me that I need the Lord; He doesn’t need me.  We accomplish things through His power and not in our own might.

The Lord also blessed us with 5 at our youth group!  It was an encouragement to have one boy come back that has not been with us for at least a month.

We were in Arequipa from Tuesday throught Thursday.  We had a great time!  It is always nice going back to the first city that you lived in.  The weather was warm and not a cloud in the sky.  We went to all our favorite places and ate way too much!  Here are some pictures:

Veteran missionary Sheridan Stanton brought a group of 15 (16 counting him) to visit Cusco on Saturday afternoon.  We’ve had a great time getting to know them and they are wonderful people. Pastor Gary Harrah preached this morning and Bro. Stanton translated for him.  The group even took up an offering for our mission!  Praise the Lord for His blessings!
