First tooth

Neomi missing her 1st tooth
very excited

Neomi lost her first tooth today!  We just found out that she had some loose teeth a couple of days ago and now she is the proud “misser” of her first tooth.  Papaw Reinhardt was able to “extract” the tooth without any problems.  (He’s famous around our Christian school for pulling teeth painlessly).  Needless to say, he was happy to grant Neomi’s wish and she is thrilled to be awaiting a visit from the tooth fairy.

Happy New Year

It’s amazing to think that another year has come and gone!  What do you see when you look back at 2010?  I see an adoption that became final, new birth certificates with our last name on it, visas to go to the U.S., and a trip to the U.S. as a family!  These are just a few of the blessings of the Lord this year!  There are so many other things I could mention.   I don’t know what 2011 holds for us as a missionary family, but I do know Who holds 2011 in His hands.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas!  It was a busy day that started early and ended late but well worth it to be with family some of whom we have not seen in a very long time!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all of you!  We wish you all a Merry Christmas!  We have now been in the U.S. for a week and it has been a crazy time but we are so thankful to be able to spend the holidays with our family.  We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

In the U.S.

We are in the United States of America!  We arrived on Thursday the 16th and hit the ground running.  It has been great to be in the U.S. again and our girls are loving everything here – especially the snow.  I haven’t had time to upload pictures but hopefully they are coming soon.  Rebecca’s dad had open heart surgery the day before our arrival.  He has had several complications including a heart attack and stroke.  We are praising the Lord that he has come through everything and is doing better. Thank you to those of you who have been praying and please continue to pray.  It looks like he is going to have a long road to recovery.
