It’s been a pretty busy week for the Reinhardt family.   A week ago Thursday, my brother and his family arrived from Turkey.  It was a long, arduous trip for them that involved missing their connecting flight because of Homeland Security questioning.  They made it in at 9 p.m. or 6 a.m. Turkish time.

Last Friday we began a short trip that took us 1,359 miles.  We visited 2 of our supporting churches and spent time with another one of our supporters.  We had a great time with Elliot B.C. in Elliot, Ms.  On Saturday they had a shrimp boil which was very tasty.  We were not used to having to pinch off their heads and legs and take the shell off.  It was a great experience though and there was a lot of shrimp.  We also had a great time at Grace Memorial B.C. in Bartlett, Tn. (near Memphis).  They have a wonderful church and we enjoyed the fellowship with Pastor Meadows and his family!  Here are some pictures of our week.

On the road

Well we are on the road – on our way to Mississippi for a meeting. We drove almost half way last night. We still have about 215 miles left.
On Thursday my brother and his wife arrived from Turkey! It had been over 1 year since I had seen him and over 5 years since Rebecca had seen them. The whole family is in and we got to see Abigail for the first time – she’s 7 months! We are looking forward to spending some time with them! Thank you all for your prayers for our trip. We only gave about 2 1/2 hours left!

Happy 7th Birthday!

Well this post is coming a little late, things have been pretty crazy lately.  Natali and Neomi celebrated their 7th birthday on August 14th! We can’t believe that they have been with us now for 6 years and that they are 7!  Where has the time gone???  We had a party with our family here in the U.S.  This was the first birthday party the girls have ever had in the U.S.  so you can imagine how they made out at their party!  Here are some pictures:

Home

Me, Dad, and Grandpa

We just got back from a 25 day trip that took us to 6 different churches and over 4,800 miles!  We traveled to Montana to visit with family on the last part of our trip which is where over 3,000 of the miles came from. Natali and Neomi finally got to meet a lot of  their papaw’s family.  It was a wonderful time and very refreshing for us to be with family, most of whom we had not seen in 8 years!

On the road

Well, we are on the road again!  We had a few weeks where we didn’t do much traveling but we are making up for that now.  We were in southwest Illinois on Sunday for a couple meetings and now we are about an hour outside of St. Louis enjoying a revival service at the Independence Baptist Church in Foristell, Mo.!  On our way through St. Louis we stopped and went up in the arch.  The girls loved it!

Going up!
