This is a very interesting article and it shows why there is a lack of leadership in our churches, homes and country.  We have a generation of “men” growing up who don’t know what it is to be a man and they most certainly don’t know what it is to be a Godly man.

Men In Trouble

The Lord blessed us with a wonderful Thanksgiving!  It was the first time in 7 years (I think) that we have been able to spend Thanksgiving with our families.  What a blessing!  We have so much to be thankful for.  The Lord has blessed us immensely this year that we have been in the U.S.  Thank you Lord for everything! Here is a picture of almost all the cousins together. 

We want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!  This will be our first Thanksgiving in the U.S. in 7 years.  We are very much looking forward to it!  The Lord has blessed us so much and we have so much to be thankful for!

Well we made it to Wooster, Ohio with no problems. It is only about a 4 hour trip. We are at the Joy Baptist Church in Orrville, Ohio for both meetings tomorrow. This is a new church for us and we are looking forward to meeting a new pastor and church.
After the services it is back to Hamilton for a quick night sleep and then I will be leaving for my Uncle Pat’s funeral. He was a pastor and preacher nearly his entire life. His church: Buncombe Baptist Church in Eubank, Ky. is one of our supporting churches and we were there in July. I am glad we got to spend some time with him, even if it was brief. He is in a far better place, but please pray for all the family and the church.

We are winding down our furlough travels.  We have 3 scheduled meetings left so far.  If we need to we will start calling and scheduling more.  We were at the Bible Baptist Church on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd.  What an exciting church to be at!  They are a church plant themselves and are now breaking ground on their own building.  This past Sunday we were at Purity Baptist Church in Maysville, Ky.  The Lord is blessing this church!  Please pray for Bro. Johnathan Bush and his family as they seek to do His will there.  In the evening we were at Storms Creek Baptist Church in Ironton, Ohio.  This church is getting ready to celebrate its 200 year anniversary!  What a joy it was to be with both these churches.  They were both new churches for us to be in and we praise the Lord for the opportunity to present the ministry to them.
