ministering to Spanish-speaking people wherever the Lord leads

We are Baptist missionaries to Spanish-speaking people. We were in Peru for 18 years from 2005 to 2023. It is a privilege to serve the Lord and we hope you enjoy our site!
Well this post is only a week late but we did have a great day celebrating Mother’s Day here in Cusco. The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful, godly wife and mother for our girls Natali and Neomi! Our house would not run near as smoothly without my wife to keep it all in order!

Today we celebrated the 1 year anniversary of our church plant! (April 29th is the actual day we started services.) We are so thankful for what the Lord is doing and the people He has brought us! We had a total of 26 in attendance! We had a special time of singing. Two men who have been coming faithfully gave testimonies of their salvation and what the Lord has been doing in their lives. We also had a special video greeting from our pastor in the U.S., as well as two other missionary friends in the U.S. The Lord really blessed and we are humbled by His grace towards us. We pray this church plant will endure if God wills until Jesus comes again and that it will be a lighthouse for the Lord in our community, district, city, region, country, and the world! Here are some pictures of the day:

They are paving the side road where the church plant is. Thankfully, we still have water because our water connection is on the main road, but for many on our street that is not the case and they all have to share the connection you see below.

We had a good kids club on Saturday! Below you will see some pictures of the kids being Queen Esther and King Ahaserous. The Lord blessed us with great services this morning also! We praise Him for bringing us a family of first time visitors this morning!
