3rd Anniversary
On April 26th we celebrated 3 years of the mission work! For this year’s celebration we tried something we had never done before. We rented a place out in the country and had our service and celebration there. It was a little nerve wracking because everything depended on transportation being on time and the people being on time (which is not something our cultural in Peru promotes). Thankfully most everyone was on time! We praise the Lord for a great day! Almost all of our regular attendees were present and some brought visitors. We had our service and then played volleyball, soccer, and even some corn hole (for you Midwesterners). It was a great opportunity to build some relationships with those who have just recently started attending. It was also a great chance to deepen the relationships that we already have with those who have been attending.

Latest Update
Vacation Bible School
This past week we had our 2nd annual Vacation Bible School! Last year we held our first VBS with the help of our friends and their church in Arequipa. We were a little nervous going into this year without any help, but we praise the Lord for a great week! We had one other young man help us, so that was a blessing. Friday was our high day of 37 and the other days we had right around 30. It was exhausting and a blessing at the same time. We pray the Lord will use this week to allow us to see fruit for years to come.

January
It’s been a good first month of 2015 for us. We are enjoying a little break from our Saturday Kid’s Club this month. We start back in February! The Lord has been blessing our Sunday services with visitors almost every week! We are gearing up for VBS in February. Please be praying for this.
Not too long ago I celebrated my 34th birthday! It was a great day celebrating with Becca and the girls. They spoiled me with a homemade chocolate Twinkie cake and ice cream (pictured below)!
