We want to thank you all so much for praying for Neomi. We praise the Lord that her surgery went as planned and that she is recovering. She had a spinal fusion from the T2-L1 vertebrae. She will be able to bend at the neck and at the waist but nothing in between. She is adjusting well to everything and learning how to maneuver with the way her back is now. Obviously, there is pain and stiffness but overall she is doing really well, and we thank the Lord for His goodness. Below is a picture of her with her sister Natali. Before the surgery she was a couple inches shorter than Natali and after she is practically the same height!
