Today we had our Christmas service at the mission. It was such a blessed day and we praise the Lord for the 36 in attendance! The people participated in reading the Christmas story from Luke 2:1-20. We also sang many Christmas carols. The children participated in some readings also. After the message we had a Christmas party which everyone stayed for. We had a great time of food and fellowship! Merry Christmas to you all!

Yesterday we had our Christmas party for our Kid’s Club. It is always a highlight of the year and a very crazy time. Normally, Christmas parties this time of the year are called “chocolatadas” because they consist of hot chocolate and a type of fruitcake called “paneton”. For us it is more cost effective for Becca to make a bunch of cupcakes and then we switch off between hot chocolate and punch. This years party did not disappoint with excitement. Praise the Lord we had 56 children! We were thankful to be able to give each child a small gift as well. Here are some pictures:
