We enjoyed celebrating our first Resurrection Day in 6 years in the U.S. with our home church and almost all of our family.  We had great services and a great time celebrating Easter with both sides of our family.

We were blessed to be able to spend Easter with almost all our immediate family.  In this picture we are only missing my mom and my brother and his family.

We just got back from the Detroit area Monday evening.  We had a great time being at 5 new churches and meeting hundreds of new people.  All the people were so kind to us and out did themselves taking care of us. We praise the Lord for keeping us safe over the 974 miles!

We took a free tour of these buildings – Headquarters to GM.  We went up 72 floors and got a great view of Detroit and Canada!

It was so windy down by the river that the girls almost got blown over!

This was part of a world map in the plaza by the Renaissance Center.  Throughout all our travels we continue to remember South America and pray for Peru and all our fellow laborers there.

Six years ago today we left for Peru!  It’s hard to believe that it’s been six years already!  We are so privileged that the Lord has seen fit to call us to Peru. Right now though we are in the Detroit area this week visiting churches.  We have been in 3 great churches and will be in 2 more on Sunday!  We have met a lot of new people and the girls are making friends everywhere they go. It is definitely different being in the big city!  So far though we have not gotten lost!

Well we are in the great state of Michigan!  We have 5 meetings scheduled here in the next week.  On Monday April 4th I traveled to Illinois for a Bible conference near Peoria.  It was a little over 5 hours but it was well worth the trip.  God blessed the conference and I heard a lot of good preaching.  Right before our the Bible Conference we were in a mission conference at the Berean Baptist Temple.  So from Wed March 31st -Wednesday April 6th I heard 15 sermons!  So far we have traveled about 1,800 miles in the past couple of weeks!  God is good and we are meeting great people along the way!  Thank you for your continued prayers.
